The Grand Touring kit is the latest development in the OS Giken clutch series and uses all multi-plate clutch technology from racing. This is complemented by OS Giken's own unique "Floating pressure system" to ensure a smooth and bump-free driving experience. The GT2CD has a double-record configuration.

This clutch is suitable for cars with more than 450 hp and its excellent controllability makes it very suitable for use in road traffic. OS Giken clutches are always supplied including a single-mass flywheel and a new release bearing.

The flywheel and clutch together weigh approximately 18 kg. This is about 20% lighter than an OEM dual-mass flywheel, which keeps the kit relatively street-ready. The flywheel can be made lighter on request, if you do not mind extra vibrations and noise.

In our experience, this is the most refined double-plate clutch that offers the following features:

- Suitable for high power and intensive use, such as drifting.

- Excellent dosage, comparable to the original coupling.

- No heavy pedal feel, which keeps traffic jams comfortable.

- Includes lighter single-mass flywheel for a faster engine pick-up.

- Very precisely balanced according to motorsport standards and very suitable for use at high speeds.

- Resistant to high temperatures under motorsport conditions.

- Replacement parts are readily available.

These sets are less suitable for frequent slippage; it is possible, but extended slippage, such as waiting on an incline at a traffic light, is not recommended as it significantly accelerates clutch wear.

The clutch may produce slightly more noise than a standard clutch when idling and at low speeds.
