The OS Giken SuperLock Clutch-Type LSD uses our patented thrust ring design that allows for smooth, progressive locking. This design is a "spline-through-side-gear" design that allows for the installation of more friction plates (up to 2x as many as competitor versions). 

• All components are chemically heat treated for maximum durability
• All components are constructed from high-quality steel alloy
• Gears are rough forged for maximum strength
• Clutch plates are precision machined on both sides simultaneously to extremely close tolerances, resulting in minimal warpage.
• The Clutch-Type LSD housing is milled from a single piece of solid material to ensure uniformity.

The standard specification of the OS Clutch-Type LSD allows a low preload, while still maintaining a fully progressive 100% locking effect. Operation is quiet and the progressive locking ensures smooth, predictable locking action. When replacing an open differential, installing an OS Clutch-Type LSD will completely improve the driving experience while maintaining everyday usability.

Adjustability

If your application requires significantly more power, we offer additional tuning services for your new/used Clutch-Type LSD in-house. More power usually means more load on the differential. We have the ability to speed up or slow down the operation of the differential so that the vehicle can achieve maximum traction.

• Initial torque can be adjusted by using thicker/thinner conical springs
• The timing of the lock progression can be adjusted by using stiffer/weaker compression ring springs, allowing the full lock progression to be precisely tailored to the vehicle/driver
• Ramp angles can be adjusted by swapping the thrust ring and iron cross for even more adjustment options
• TCD spec plates can be installed for improved oil cooling and even smoother operation
